Returns Policy

1 Introduction

This Returns Policy applies to all virtual goods, data packs, credits, and subscription products ("Virtual Goods") purchased through the AskOwly mobile application or website, owned and operated by Avalon Tech Labs ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By completing a purchase of Virtual Goods, you agree to the terms of this Returns Policy. Please review it carefully before making any purchase.

2 Scope

This policy covers the following:

  • One-time Data Packs (e.g., personality-analysis credits, one-off report bundles)
  • Recurring Subscriptions (e.g., monthly/annual subscription plans)
  • Bundled offerings that include Virtual Goods

Physical products, if any, are not covered by this policy. Any hardware or third-party services may have separate return or warranty terms.

3 No Refunds or Returns

All sales of Virtual Goods are final. Once a purchase is confirmed, you immediately receive access to the product or quota, and no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be provided, except as expressly stated in Section 4.

This no-refund policy applies to:

  • Unused or partially used data-pack credits
  • Unused days in a subscription term
  • Cancellations after the free-trial period

4 Limited Exceptions

Although we generally do not offer refunds, we may consider refund requests in the following limited circumstances, subject to our sole discretion:

  • Duplicate Charge: If your payment processor (e.g., Stripe, PhonePe) mistakenly processes multiple charges for the same purchase, we will refund the duplicate amount upon verification.
  • Technical Error: If you were unable to access purchased Virtual Goods due to a verifiable technical issue on our end, and the issue was not resolved within 48 hours, you may request a prorated refund for the affected portion.
  • Fraudulent Transaction: If we determine that a transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, we will cancel the purchase and refund the full amount.

To request an exception, contact us within 14 days of the original purchase date at feed@askowly.in with:

  • Your name and account email
  • Date and details of the purchase
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Relevant transaction ID or receipt

We will respond to all valid requests within 7 business days. If your refund is approved, the amount will be credited within 30 days

5 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute directly with your payment provider without contacting us first, we may suspend or terminate your account and/or deny future refunds.

6 Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer-protection laws. If you reside in a jurisdiction that mandates a right of refund or cooling-off period for digital goods, those rights will apply despite this policy.

7 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Returns Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect.
